The television show “grown-ish” may have wrapped up in May, but Trevor Jackson’s music career is booming. In 2024, the multi-talented artist has been exceptionally productive, releasing a series of singles and two EPs, Heads Up and He Don’t Know, in the year’s first half. As the year progresses, Trevor is set to make an even bigger splash with his upcoming album, “It’s Complicated,” due out this month. To build anticipation, he has introduced his latest single, “Find Out.”

“Find Out,” co-written with Eric Bellinger and Trevor’s older brother Ian Jackson, tells the story of Trevor’s interest in a young woman who is hesitant to get involved with him due to his notorious reputation. Despite their mutual attraction, her friends’ skepticism and her own doubts create a barrier. Throughout the song, Trevor tries to persuade her to look past the rumors and see the real him, emphasizing his sincerity and dedication to R&B. This track is Trevor Jackson’s third release in under a month, following “Beer With Dad” and “Robert Downey Freestyle.” While it remains uncertain if these songs will be featured on “It’s Complicated,” fans will soon discover the full tracklist when the album is released on Tuesday, July 16th, under Jackson’s Born Art label.
