
Lalah Hathaway is gearing up for an exciting summer with the announcement of her Vantablack Tour, just days before the release of her album of the same name. The Grammy-winning artist will begin her 18-city tour on August 24 at BJCC Concert Hall in Birmingham, Alabama. The tour will take her to major cities across the U.S., including New Orleans, Houston, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., before wrapping up on September 28 at Charleston Music Hall in Charleston, South Carolina.

Presale tickets for the Vantablack Tour start on Wednesday, June 12, at noon local time, with general sales commencing on Friday, June 14, at 10 a.m. local time. Hathaway’s headlining tour supports her eighth album, Vantablack, which releases on June 14. The album includes the singles “So In Love,” “I Am,” and “Mood For You” featuring MC Lyte, along with collaborations with artists such as Rapsody, Common, WILLOW and more. Hathaway shared her thoughts on the project, saying, “The word Vantablack carries so much meaning. It helped shape not only the album but also my understanding of myself and my music.”
