Lucky Daye has just unveiled his new single, “Soft.” This track, which blends elements of R&B and rock, features Daye singing, “You’re making me soft / Got me nervous, shakin’ every time that you kiss me / Got me on your string like a symphony.” The lyrics capture the vulnerability and nervous excitement that love can evoke, beautifully conveyed through Daye’s expressive vocals.

Discussing the inspiration behind “Soft,” Daye explains, “The song is about how love can unexpectedly make someone feel vulnerable, and how it’s okay to embrace that feeling. It’s about being comfortable with things society might label as ‘soft,’ like cuddling, PDA, hugging, and kissing – without shame. It’s about a lover casting a spell on you, with love itself being that spell.” Co-produced by his longtime collaborator D’Mile, along with Livvy Bennett and Michael B. Hunter, “Soft” is the third single from Daye’s upcoming album, “Algorithm,” set to be released on June 28 via RCA Records. This release follows the singles “HERicane” and “That’s You.”
